The frame is built from Scott's Scale Carbon HMF — High Modulus Fiber, the same material grade used in the Scale RC cross-country race bike. Scott engineered what they call an Advanced Shock and Standing Damping System into the carbon layup, designed to reduce road buzz and vibration transmission through the frame without softening the chassis under power. The monocoque front triangle construction uses a minimal number of molded sections, which reduces junction points and contributes to both weight and stiffness efficiency. The UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) interface ensures direct compatibility with SRAM Transmission-spec components.
